Desperate Enough?

Agonized
The path is hidden from my eyes
Distressed by uncertainty

Blinded
Unable to be guided
By useless humanity

Silencing
The voice of flesh and feeling
Only One Voice is necessary

Desperate
Has He yet answered?
The Voice of truth clearly

Only One illumines the darkness
Only One makes known the path of life to me
Only One is always trustworthy
Only One governs my times rightly
Only One upholds me in my failings
Only One gives grace so sufficient
Only One silences the doubting
Only One sustains me with His presence

Only One voice is enough for me…
Am I desperate enough to seek?
